Meryl Streep’s Margaret Thatcher

Margaret Thatcher is... The Iron Lady

Margaret Thatcher is… The Iron Lady

Has anyone heard of the movie The Iron Lady? Neither have I. It’s actually a biopic about Baroness Margaret Thatcher.

But, I probably shouldn’t talk about it, since the movie is infuriating her children.

I love how they said “it sounds like some Left-wing fantasy.” And how they won’t talk about it to the media, because they don’t want people to be curious about it. Go Thatchers!

Anyway, don’t go see this movie when it comes out. Because it will be dumb.

Elena Kagan Wants Your Nom Noms

Beware! Your spaghetti and meatballs are at stake! Hide your fried chicken! Don’t let them see the cake!

But in all seriousness, I’m actually glad someone is talking about Congress abusing the Commerce Clause. If you noticed, I linked to something else on Monday that asks questions about it, too…

Elena Kagan (and other liberals) should read the Constitution again, specifically Article II Section 8, and more than just Clause 3. And it wouldn’t hurt to take a look at the Ninth and Tenth Amendments, while she’s as it.

Supreme Court and Guns

Supreme Court and Guns

Supreme Court and Guns

This just in! The Supreme Court has made a 5 to 4 ruling in support of individual gun rights.

Specifically, this strikes down the ban on handguns in Chicago.

Heck, guns have been so banned in Chicago, you can’t even find the word “gun” or “firearm” on the Chicago wikipedia page!

So, there. A great step forward to firearm freedom.

To Whet Your Whistle

I think I’ll just put this right here… :-)
