Patch 3.3.5 – The Ruby Sanctum
It’s Tuesday, and do you know what that means? It’s Patch Tuesday!
No, not that Patch Tuesday.
Today, Blizzard Entertainment released patch 3.3.5 for that game we all know and love, World of Warcraft.
As you can see from the patch notes, they just released the final 10- and 25-man raid, The Ruby Sanctum… Sort of. If you look, they’ve released all the data for it, but the raid itself won’t be open for a while to make sure the patch goes through smoothly.
Too bad that didn’t work out for them.
But the other big thing is that the new Battle.net Real ID went live, too. That means that while Aetherswift and I are playing our level 80 paladins (ding, by the way), we can be talking to our friends in Starcraft 2 from inside WoW. Cross-game chat, cross-realm chat, cross-faction chat, whatever!
Anyway, if the Launcher isn’t working for you, WoW.com made a list of patch 3.3.5 download mirrors that you can check out.
But I really just wrote this blog entry until the servers came back online…
